Theatre of Blood Entry Mode Changes & Improvements

OSRS Theatre of Blood was released on 7 June 2018. It's also a requirement for completing the OSRS quest: A Night at the Theatre. There will be some changes and improvements to the entry mode to make it easier for starters.

Note: All ideas are from the raid: Tombs of Amascut.

Boss Hitpoint

Currently, the bosses' hitpoints increase by 100% for each additional player in TOB. It will change to:

1 Player: Unchanged

2 Players: +90%

3 Players: +80%

4 Players: +70%

5 Players: +60%

For example, if a boss has 100 HP, it will increase to 190 (200 before) with two players, 270 (300 before) with three players, and so on.

Attempts Numbers

You have three attempts to challenge all the bosses in the raid. You will have unlimited attempts in the future until you defeat all the bosses. But do remember, every death will make you get less loot from the Monumental chest.

Supplies after Death

In TOB, you will not get any supplies after death. Even if you have unlimited attempts, you may fail to complete a raid.

In the future, you will get additional supplies after death based on what you have used in the encounter, like in TOA.

Fees for Failure

In TOB, you must pay 100K OSRS gold to reclaim your items if you fail. But in TOA, you don't need to pay for them if unlimited attempts are enabled.

In the future, you also can reclaim your items for free in TOB. But note that you still lose your Hardcore status on death.

Rewards

TOB entry mode gives no unique rewards but only 15% of the regular loot. But we know there is a chance to get unique items and more regular loot (more than 15%) in TOA.

You will get 20% of the regular loot instead of 15%. But still, no unique items will be added to the entry mode.

Preferred Mode Set

It will ask you to set your preferred mode on your first use at the recruitment board. Of course, you can change it later.

If you are stuck at the raid and cannot complete the A Night at the Theatre quest, you can do it easier in the future. Of course, you can also come to us, and we will help you complete it.
