Pyramid Plunder - OSRS Thieving Minigame Guide

07/12/22

Pyramid Plunder is a dangerous OSRS minigame for Thieving experiences, which is considered one of the best thieving training methods. Today we will show you how to play the minigame.

Requirements

You must have started the quest Icthlarin's Little Helper to access Sophanem city.

21 Thieving or higher is required to play the minigame.

Gear and Inventory

Weight-reducing gear like the Graceful outfit, Spotted/Spottier cape, or Boots of lightness

A weapon and a shield if don't use the Pharaoh's sceptre

Some Antidote++ (4)

High-level food like Monkfish or Shark

Stamina potions

Pharaoh's sceptre, Camulet, and an Amulet of glory or Ring of dueling for faster bank trips to save time

Getting There

The Pyramid is in Sophanem city, marked with a minigame icon on the map.

Use the Magic carpet out of the Shandy pass to travel to Pollnivneach, head south, and use it again to travel to Sophanem.

You can enter the city by opening the gates after completing the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest. If you haven't completed Icthlarin's Little Helper, use the rock entrance north-east of Wanderer's tent at the quest start point.

You can also buy a Pharaoh's sceptre (uncharged) and some gold or stone artefacts from the Grand exchange, then talk to the Guardian mummy in the Pyramid to recharge it after you start the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest. You can teleport directly to the Guardian mummy with the Pharaoh's sceptre (Jalsavrah).

There are four entrances to the Guardian mummy, and she is in one of them randomly.

Game Play

Talk to Guardian mummy if this is your first time here. After that, you can right-click on her and choose to start the game.

Please note that each game lasts 5 minutes, then you will automatically teleport out.

There are eight rooms for different levels from 21 to 91 - The first room for level 21, the second room for level 31, and so on.

There are a Spear wall, 13 Urns, a Grand gold chest, a Sarcophagi, two exit doors, and four doors to the next room (one leading to the next room, and the other three are fake).

Pass the spear wall, and search the urns, Sarcophagus, and Grand gold chest.

You must try to open the four doors to find out the one leading to the next room.

Be sure to loot all Grand gold chests and Sarcophagis in all rooms, everything in the highest level room you can reach.

If you have a low Thieving level, you can loot everything in the last two rooms.

Eat when you have low health, and drink the Antidot++ when poisoned.

Reward

Thieving experiences

Various trinkets

Pharaoh's sceptre (possible loot from all Grand gold chests and Sarcophagis)

Note: If your inventory is full, all loots will be dropped on the ground.

Tips

Completing the OSRS quest Contact! allows you to use the bank in Sophanem Dungeon.

Use a Pharaoh's sceptre for quickly getting to the Guardian mummy, which will save you some time.

Completion of Desert Diary will increase the teleport times of the Pharaoh's sceptre: 10 with the easy, 25 with the medium, 50 with the hard, and 100 with the elite.

You can take noted artefacts to the Guardian mummy to recharge the Pharaoh's sceptre: 6 gold ones or 12 stone ones for each charge.

Just search all urns instead of checking for snakes.

Ignore the regular loots dropped on the ground to save time.

We hope this guide is helpful to you.
