Possible OSRS ToA Purple Drop Mechanism and Rate
Since ToA launched, players have completed millions of raids. Thanks to all of you who have contributed to the incredible number. Although we don't know how many times you have completed it and whether you have received purples.
We always want to know the drop mechanism and rate for purples, and it seems that Jagex deliberately does not let us know.
Drop Mechanism
Contribution or lucky for purples?
The drop may be related to the raid level, the damage you dealt, deaths, the raid completion time, your contribution on the paths, team or solo, etc.
However, luck is also important. 1/10 means you may get it for the first time, or you may not get it dozens of times. - IMPORTANT
Purple Rate & Drop Table
According to data from RuneLite's loot tracker, someone has made a graph of the purple rate.
And it seems that the purple rate is around 10% or less between level 400 and level 500.
If you have completed a raid of level 150 or above and get a purple, you may have a chance to get the following unique items:
7/24 for Osmumten's fang
7/24 for Lightbearer
3/24 for Elidinis' ward
2/24 each for Masori pieces
1/24 for Tumeken's shadow
Partisan gems & Thread of elidinis
In addition, many players want to know the drop rates of Partisan gems & the Thread of elidinis. It seems that the drop rates have nothing to do with raid level. And it is around 1/45 to get a gem drop from any raid level.
And the Thread of elidinis may have a higher drop rate. Maybe twice or more than the drop rate of gems? One of our gamers got two Threads and one gem in less than 10 completions of entry raid (level 0). Or is he lucky?
If you want to farm gems and the Thread only, set your raid level at 0. It is the fastest way to get them.
Thank you for reading. Please let us know if you need any help in the OSRS game, such as a cheap Firecape, which is helpful for the raid.
