Jagex published a blog today to explain the points system and unique drop chances. And also they create a Loot Calculator for all raid runners. Now let's take a look.

The Points System

There are start points, room points, and raid points.

You will get 5,000 points when you start a raid.

You will gain room points when you deal damages to every NPC in the raid, one point per damage. And some NPCs give you bonus points, while some of them give no points.

Zebak: 1.5x Points

Ba-Ba: 2x Points

Monkeys (Path of Apmeken): 1.2x Points

Spitting, Soldier, and Arcane Scarabs: 0.5x Points

Obelisk (Path of Het): 2.5x Points

Obelisk (Wardens' P1): 1.5x Points

Wardens (P2): 2x Points

Wardens (P3): 2.5x Points

Warden Cores (P2): 0x Points

You can get up to 20,000 points in a single room and 64,000 points in total if you solo the raid.

If you are the MVP (dealt the most damages) for a room, you will get bonus points of 300xGroup Size (a party with two players will give you 300x2=600).

Death will deduct 20% of your total points (a minimum of 1,000). You will lose more points if you die more in a raid.

You will get the Dung with no other rewards in the reward room if your raid points are less than 1,500.

Therefore, kill everything as much as possible in each room to get more points. After completing each room, your room points will be transferred to your total raid points.

Unique Drop Chances

You can learn more about the unique drop chances from the picture (OSRS's official blog). And you can click to enlarge it if you are reading on a mobile device.

The total raid points of your party are used to calculate the percentage of getting unique. As a party member, the higher the contribution, the greater the chance of getting it.

The chance of receiving a unique can never exceed 55%.

If you see a purple reward, you will get a unique drop:

Lightbearer: 7/24

Osmumten's Fang: 7/24

Elidinis' Ward: 3/24

Masori Mask: 2/24

Masori Body: 2/24

Masori Chaps: 2/24

Tumeken's Shadow: 1/24

Untradeable Drops

The drop rates of untradeable items depend on the number of raid completion and have no relationship with the raid level.

Thread of Elidinis: 1/10

Keris Partisan Jewels: 1/60 (1/180 for each specific one)
