OSRS Smithing Minigame Giants' Foundry Changes
OSRS Giants' Foundry - the new Smithing minigame launched along with the release of the new OSRS quest Sleeping Giants on June 8, 2022. Have you ever helped Kovac forge some comically oversized weapons? The OSRS team has made some improvements and fixed some issues.
Giants' Foundry Improvements
You will find that the Moulds list displays the best moulds first, saving you some time in selecting the mould. Why not auto-setting the mould? Then we can fill the Crucible and pour the metal into the mould directly. What do you think about it? * Sign*
When asking Kavoc for the new commission, he will no longer talk more but only the two keywords, making back-to-back commissions a bit smoother.
You can now move while examining the finished sword before handing it in.
They have reduced the weight of the Colossal Blade to 30kg.
The X option for adding armour or weapons now remembers the numbers you input the last time. And you can use the space key to fill the Crucible quickly with the bars you used the last time.
Fixed Issues
They have fixed the bug of withdrawing Runite Bars from the bar dispenser of Blast Furnace.
You will no longer lose quality if you click the Drop Hammer at a specific time.
It will no longer fix the Drop Hammer when using items on the Polishing Wheel.
There will be no dead space in the Mould Jig because they have fixed the Scroll Position reset issue.
You will now face the Mould Jig when you use it.
Some Ideas about Giants' Foundry
Could they put the gold coins directly into the bank? It will save players a bit of time.
Could they add some safe sections between the temperature & progress bars? It will make the sword quality safer.
Why not remove Kovac's dialogue when we try to hand in the sword?
Could they add some confirmation dialogues when the quality reduces to x%? It will warn us that we should pay more attention to the next operation.
Could they add a customized commission option? Then we can set the mould as we wish. Complex moulds will give us better rewards.
Do you have any other ideas?
