OSRS Sailing Training - Basic and Primary Gameplay
We all know that most OSRS skills are simple-and-easy to train. You will gain experience via a few mouse clicks.
For example, click on a tree to get logs along with some Woodcutting experience; use your tinder box on a log to light it for the Firemaking experience; grab rune essences from the bank, and click to run to Runic altars to make runes to tain your Runecraft, etc.
So does the Sailing. You can gain Sailing experience any time you interact with the facilities using your mouse on your ship, such as sails, harpoons, the crow's nest, or any other things!
Basic - Fastening the Sails
Click Intensity: Low
XP/HR: Low
GP/HR: N/A
While you are sailing, the ship moves with the wind to increase its speed. But after a fixed interval, approximately every 30 seconds of travel time, your sails will luff, and you need to turn them to catch the wind again! Just click the sails, and you will fasten them correctly. You will gain some sailing experience by doing this.
With a higher Sailing level, you can hire an NPC crewmate to do the task. So you will have more time to use other facilities to gain more experience.

Of course, you will also get some other rewards.
