OSRS Quest Porting - Nomad's Requiem, While Guthix Sleeps, and More
Quests are a core part of Old School RS. As of 9 February 2022, 22 free quests and 129 member-only quests were released. By completing the OSRS Quests, you can get rewards ranging from skill experience and items, access to many new areas, minigames, miniquests, etc... For example, you must complete the Desert Treasure to use the Ancient Magic spellbook, and gain access to Prifddinas to fight Zalcano after completing the Song of the Elves.
Recently, the Old School RS Team put forward the idea of quest porting. And they also gave a link for a survey so that everyone could participate. And according to the survey results, they will decide whether to carry out the plan. Now let's take a look at the quests.
The Path of Glouphrie
The Path of Glouphrie was released on 3 September 2007 in RS. The quest is an experienced quest that belongs to the Gnome storyline. With the porting, they would make some changes the Slayer creatures found after completing the quest.
The Chosen Commander
The Chosen Commander was released on 17 March 2009 in RS. The quest is an experienced quest that belongs to the Dorgeshuun storyline. They may increase the difficulty to make it a Master quest.
Defender of Varrock & The Curse of Arrav
Defender of Varrock is an experienced quest, and The Curse of Arrav is a master one. Both of the quests belong to the Mahjarrat storyline. They were released on 29 September 2008 and 21 July 2009. They may add some rewards for completing the quests.
Rocking Out & A Clockwork Syringe

Nomad's Requiem
Nomad, the final boss you must defeat in Nomad's Requiem quest, will be forever remembered by players, as he is the strongest boss in quests. It is a Grandmaster quest and was released on 11 January 2010. Soul wars are here, and will Nomad's Requiem come soon? They may retain the difficulty of the boss fight. But wait, can we beat him without a summoning pet? Players can upgrade the Soul cape after completing the quest.
While Guthix Sleeps
Guthix Sleeps, a master quest, is the greatest ever quest in RS. It was released on 26 November 2008. There must be some changes on Summoning elements and rewards when porting it.
