OSRS PVP Arena Rewards Revision in Late May
Three months have passed since the OSRS Team first introduced the PVP Arena. Players pay close attention to the rewards, and in the feedback, they offer their own opinions and suggestions. So, the OSRS team revised the PVP Arena Rewards in late May. Let's take a look at the revisions.
Calamity Armours & Headgear Sets
The Calamity armours & Headgear sets no longer have special effects, but only the raw stats are available (the stats have been revised, see below).
Calamity Chest
Calamity Breeches
Maoma's Great Helm
Koriff's Coif
Saika's Shroud
We can see that they have increased the attack bonuses and reduced the defense bonuses for each piece. And the revised stats have highlighted the importance of the PvP combat triangle.
Compared with the Void knight gears, the Calamity Sets deal more DPS against high-defence targets, while the Void excels versus low-Defence enemies with more max hits.
These new equipment are specially designed for you if you are not good at PK or don't know how to choose PK equipment.
Fighter's Wristwraps
The Fighter's Wristwraps replace the Wristbands of the Arena as a reward you can get from the PvP Arena. And they are an attachment for the Culinaromancer's Gloves, meaning that you need to complete some of the Recipe for Disaster quests to use them.
The new gloves grant more attack and strength but lose all defence bonuses:
+9 to Slash, Stab, Crush, and Ranged Attack Bonuses
+3 to Magic Attack Bonus
+0 to All Defence Bonuses
Barrows Gloves(Wrapped)
Centurion Cuirass
Players can obtain the Centurion Cuirass without playing the Barbarian Assault minigame, so what is the significance of the fighter torso? Then, the OSRS team decided to remove the Centurion Cuirass from the PVP Arena.
Due to differences of opinion, there will be another poll for Ornament Kits. Hope you enjoy the new PVP Arena rewards.
