OSRS Miniquest Enter the Abyss Guide

Enter the Abyss is a significant but easy OSRS miniquest in the game, especially for Runecrafters. Many players complete it to make Nature runes to level up the Runecraft skill and sell the runes for osrs gold.

Requirements

You must have completed the OSRS quest Rune Mysteries to start the miniquest.

Walkthrough

Don't equip any god-related items except Zamorak ones before talking to the Mage of Zamorak. Or he won't speak with you.

Teleport to Edgeville with your Amulet of glory. Follow the River Lum and find the Mage of Zamorak. Talk to him to start the miniquest.

Teleport to Varrock, head southeast to the Altar of Zamorak, and talk to the Mage of Zamorak (Chat 2 - 1; Chat 1 - 2 - 1 if you have started the quest Wanted!). He will give you the scrying orb!

Make sure you have the scrying orb in your inventory in the following steps!

Go to the nearby Runeshop and ask Aubury to teleport you to the rune essence mine.

Teleport to the Wizard Tower with a Necklace of passage. Go to the basement and ask Archmage Sedridor to teleport you to the rune essence mine.

Teleport to Ardougne (Completion of quest Plague City with 51 Magic). Go and find Wizard Cromperty, located in northeast Ardougne. Ask him to teleport you to the rune essence mine.

Note: You can teleport to the fishing guild with the Skill necklace and run to Ardougne city if you cannot use Ardougne teleport.

Once you have visited all three rune essence mines, return to the Mage of Zamorak in the Altar of Zamorak in south-eastern Varrock.

Talk to him twice to complete the miniquest.

Rewards

Now you can enter the Abyss to use the Inner ring for quick ways to all the Rune alters (except the Astral and Wrath Altars; no talismans or tiaras required).

You will get 1,000 Runecraft experience and an abyssal book.

You can also get a free Small pouch that can carry three pure essences or rune essences.
