OSRS Keris Partisan and Circlet of Water
You will receive the OSRS Keris partisan and Circlet of water after you have completed the Beneath Cursed Sands quest. The Keris partisan is a helpful weapon while fighting all Kalphites and Scabarites, and the Circlet of water will protect you from being damaged by the desert heat. Today we will introduce the two newly added items in the OSRS game.
Keris partisan
The Keris partisan is a one-handed melee weapon that can deal a 33% bonus and a 1/51 chance to deal triple damage to all Kalphites and Scabarites. But you cannot poison it with the weapon poison.
It has a balanced attack bonus for Stab, Slash, and Crush. And it requires a level of 65 Attack to wield.
If lost, you can get it back from Selim, the spymaster of Al Kharid at the entrance of Al Kharid Palace, by paying him 60,000 OSRS gold coins.
It has four combat styles:
Combat Style | Style type | Weapon Style | Experience | Invisible Boost |
Stab | Stab | Accurate | Attack and Hitpoints | +3 Attack |
Lunge | Stab | Aggressive | Strength and Hitpoints | +3 Strength |
Pound | Crush | Aggressive | Strength and Hitpoints | +3 Strength |
Block | Stab | Defensive | Defence and Hitpoints | +3 Defence |
After the release of the 3rd Raid: Tombs of Amascut, you can upgrade it with three different jewels obtained as rewards from the Raid. The three upgraded version weapons require a level of 80 Attack to wield that offer differing effects:
Eye of the Corrupter - Gives a damage-over-time effect on the enemies you attack within the Tombs of Amascut.
Jewel of the Sun - A chance to apply a debuff to the enemies you attack, causing them to take more damage for a sustained time within the Tombs of Amascut.
Breach of the Scarab - 33% additional accuracy bonus for fighting all Kalphites and Scabarites anywhere.
Circlet of water
The Circlet of water is another reward item received from Maisa. Wearing it can protect you from being damaged by the desert heat when you are in the desert. It means that you don't need to take any waterskins when traveling around in the desert.
It is an uncharged version at the start, and you can charge it with Water runes - five runes for one charge and a max of 500,000 charges it can hold. You can uncharge it to get back the Water runes at any time.
If lost, you can get it back from the High Priest of Sophanem in Sophanem by paying him 10,000 OSRS gold coins.
We think that they should improve the Keris partisan's special damage effect rates. If your damage is 10, the special damage should be 30. You can also hit a 30 damage with a regular attack. In this way, the 1/51 chance with the special damage effect is not ideal. We hope they can improve the special damage rates later.
