OSRS Giant Mole - One of The Easiest OSRS Bosses Guide

06/20/22

giant mole

The Giant Mole, one of the easiest OSRS bosses, can be easily killed by low-level and high-level players. Most players kill it for mole claws, skins, and Baby mole pet drops.

Requirements

There is no requirement for killing it. However, here are some suggestions:

Complete the hard Falador Diary (certain osrs quests and skills are required) - You can use Falador shield 3 to locate the Giant mole whenever it digs away. And The Giant Mole will drop noted mole skins.

Light the Old fire pit (Completion of Making Friends with My Arm & 35 Construction are required) - Buy 100 Efh sault, 300 Te sault, 50 Urt salt, 2 Mahogany planks, and 2 Steel bars from the Grand exchange. Enter the Giant mole's lair with a hammer, a saw, a tinder box, a spade, and a light source, then build the fire pit. You don't need to bring any more light sources after completing it.

Skills - 70+ Attack, Strength, Defence, 43+ Prayer for using Dharok's equipment (Locator orb, made during Dragon Slayer II, or Dwarven rock cake, made during Freeing the Mountain Dwarf, is required), or a higher Ranged level for safespot.

How to Get There

The Mole Lair is under Falador, and you can get there by digging the mole holes in Falador park.

How to Kill it

Once upon entering the lair with The Falador shield 3, you will see a shining red arrow on your screen that tells you where the Giant mole is.

You can kill it with Melee or Ranged.

For high-level players, wear Dharok's equipment, lower your health to 1 with the Locator orb or Dwarven rock cake and turn on Prayer from Melee before attacking it. Bring some Super combat potions, Prayer potions, Stamina potions, and Nature & fire runes.

For low-level payers, safespot it with Ranged by using the cavern walls. Bring some Ranging potions, food, Stamina potion, and Nature & Fire runes. Use the best Ranged equipment and crossbow you can use.

Whenever it digs away, you need to run around to find it. The Falador shield 3 can locate it automatically if you have it in your inventory.

Drops & Profits

The average Giant Mole kill is worth around 25k gold coins. It has a 100% drop rate of 1-3 Skins and 1 Claw (noted after the completion of the hard Falador Diary), along with some other drops like 100 noted iron ores, 100 noted Yew logs, etc.

You can get the Baby mole (1/3000) as a drop if you are lucky.

Happy mole fighting!
