OSRS Free Quest Guide - X Marks the Spot
OSRS X Marks the Spot is also a very short and easy-to-complete quest. In the quest, you will help Veos to finish a treasure hunt, just like a treasure trial hunt. Although you can find it on our OSRS quest helper list, we do not recommend you purchase it.
Requirements & Items
There are no requirements for it. You need a spade to finish the quest. You can use a charged Amulet of Glory to teleport to Draynor Village if you are a member. You can also use some Energy potions or Stamina potions (members only) to restore your running energy.
Quest Walkthrough
We recommend you turn on the Clue Scroll/Quest Helper plugin if you use the RuneLite client.
1. Speak to Veos in The Sheared Ram pub in Lumbridge (you can find the quest start icon on the world map). (Chat 1-1)
2. First dig spot: Dig under the north-westernmost window outside Bob's Brilliant Axes Shop.
3. Second dig spot: Dig southwest one tile from the large crate behind Lumbridge Castle (outside the kitchen door).
4. Third dig spot: Dig four tiles north of the bush near Leela, northwest of the Draynor Village jail by the wheat farm.
5. Fourth dig spot: Dig in the center of the pig pen north of the Draynor Village market. You will receive an Ancient casket.
6. Go to the northernmost dock in Port Sarim, south of the Rusty Anchor Inn. Use the Ancient casket on Veos to complete the quest.
Rewards
By completing the quest, you will receive:
1 Quest point
200 coins
Antique lamp providing 300 experience in any skill of the player's choosing (can be reclaimed if lost or destroyed)
A beginner clue scroll (only if the player does not have one already in their possession; can be claimed later if players had one in their possession already)
