OSRS Free Quest Guide - Pirate's Treasure
In this quest, bring Redbeard Frank a bottle of wine to exchange for the location of the pirate treasure he knows. Then go and find the treasure. Here is a guide on how to complete it step by step.
Requirements
There are no requirements for it.
Required Items
Karamjan rum (buy from Zambo in the Karamja Wines, Spirits, and Beers shop on Karamja for 30 OSRS gold coins)
White apron (buy from the Grand Exchange, or take one in Wydin's Food Store in Port Sarim)
60 OSRS gold coins
10 Bananas (you can pick them in the Karamja banana plantation or buy them from the Grand Exchange)
Spade (buy from the Grand Exchange)
Recommended
Amulet of glory for Draynor Village/Karamja teleport (member-only)
Runes for Varrock and Falador teleport, or Varrock and Falador teleport tablets (member-only)
Please prepare some energy potions if you don't meet the required Magic levels.
Quest Walkthrough
1. Speak to Redbeard Frank by the pub to the north Port Sarim dock. (Chat 1-1) For members, teleport to Draynor Village with the Amulet of glory and run there. For non-members, teleport to Falador and run there.
2. Teleport to Karamja with the Amulet of glory (member-only). For non-members, speak to the people in blue on the south docks and travel to Karamja for 30 coins.
3. Once on the Island, buy one Karamjan rum for 30 coins from Zambo in the Karamja Wines, Spirits, and Beers bar.
4. Pick 10 Bananas from trees in the Karamja banana plantation if you haven't bought them from the Grand Exchange.
5. Speak to Luthas, located southeast of the banana plantation. (Chat 2)
6. Speak to him again. (Chat 1)
7. You will find a crate to the southeast of Luthas' hut. Use the Karamjan rum on it, then right-click on the crate and select the fill option.
8. Speak to Luthas and get your payment.
9. Take the boat back to Port Sarim. (Chat 1-2-1)
10. Take a White apron from the fishing store in Port Sarim if you haven't bought it from the Grand Exchange.
11. Wear the White apron and speak to Wydin in the food store just south of the fishing store. (Chat 4)
12. Open the door and search the crate with the banana on it to get the Karamja rum.
13. Return to Redbeard Frank and speak to him with the rum. (Chat 1) He will give you a key.
14. Teleport to Varrock and head to the Blue Moon Inn. Go upstairs and use the key on the chest in the room directly west. You will get a Pirate message. Click it to read.
15. Teleport to Falador and go to the center of the park, where you can find the statue of Saradomin. Dig in the center of the dirt "X" just west of the statue.
16. Kill the level-4 Gardener, or run out of the park. Dig again to get a casket.
Quest complete.

Open the Treasure Chest to get a gold ring, an emerald, and 450 coins.
