OSRS Free Quest Guide - Black Knights' Fortress

Black Knights' Fortress is a classic OSRS quest that requires players to infiltrate the fortress and uncover the Black Knights' evil plans. Here's a quick guide to help you complete it in Old School RuneScape.

Requirements

You must have 12 Quest points to start the quest and the ability to evade level 33 Black Knights.

Before starting the quest, we suggest you buy a cabbage, an Iron chainbody, and a Bronze med helm from the Grand Exchange.

Some armour, food, and energy potions are needed for low-level players.

For Ironman:

You can get the cabbage from the cabbage patch in Edgeville Monastery and Lumbridge cellar (Cabbages obtained from Draynor Manor CANNOT be used).

You can buy the Iron chainbody at Horvik's Armour Shop in Varrock or Wayne's Chains store in Falador.

You can buy the Bronze med helm in the helmet shop in Barbarian Village or take one by the backdoor of Draynor Manor.

Quest Walkthrough

1. Teleport/Walk to Falador and climb up to the 3rd floor of the western section of the White Knights' Castle. Then speak to Sir Amik Varze. (Chat 1-1-1)

2. Equip your iron chainbody and bronze med helm, and head to the Black Knights' Fortress north of the Ice Mountain, northwest of the Monastery.

3. Enter the fortress through the sturdy door (toward the south).

4. Go a bit north, push the wall, and climb up the ladder twice.

5. Climb down the ladder to the south, go through the eastern door, and climb up the ladder.

6. Climb down the eastern ladder, go south through the door, and climb down the ladder.

7. Listen at the grill on the eastern wall.

8. Go through the conversation, and go back to the entrance of the fortress.

9. Go through the eastern door into the dining area, finishing all chats with the guard. (Chat 2)

10. Go north, climb up the ladder, run east and then south, and push the wall.

11. Use cabbage on the hole (Right-click on it and select use). Your character mentions that you should return to Falador.

12. Return to Sir Amik Varze, and speak to him to complete the quest.
