OSRS Fastest Woodcutting Skill Training Guide
Woodcutting is one of the gathering skills in OSRS. You can use these logs obtained from chopping trees to train in Fletching, Firemaking, and Construction (exchange for plank first before use). With a higher level of Woodcutting, you can use the higher level of axes, cut the higher level of trees, and cut down trees quicker.
Note: You should drop all logs for the most efficient experience. You can enable quickly drop (shift+click) or tap to drop on mobile.
Fastest Experience Gaining
Level 1-15: Normal trees
You need to cut 97 logs from level 1 to level 15. Normal trees are everywhere in the game.
Level 15-30: Oak
You need to cut 293 oak logs from level 15 to level 30. There are a lot of oak trees in the game. If you want to bank the logs for Firemaking or Fletching, you can cut them near both the west and east Varrock banks.
Level 30-35: Willow
You need to cut 134 willow logs from level 30 to level 35. The best locations for banking willow logs are Draynor Village and Barbarian Outpost. If you are a F2P player, keep cutting willows for level 99.
Level 35-99: Teak
The fastest way to reach level 99 is to keep cutting teak trees. You need to cut 15,3083 teak logs to get your Woodcutting skill cape. You can find teak trees southwest of Castle Wars (ring of dueling), north of Isle of Souls (fairy ring code: BJP), and northeast of Prifddinas (after Song of the Elves quest). If you have completed the OSRS quest Bone Voyage, you can plant three teak trees on Fossil Island (requires 35 farming).
Axe & Lumberjack Outfit
Do remember to use the highest-tier axe available. If you don't have the required attack level to equip the axe, put it in your inventory.
The Lumberjack outfit pieces provide a total of 2.5% bonus experience per log cut. You can get them as drops from Undead Lumberjacks in one random event of the Temple Trekking minigame. You need level 44 woodcutting to equip them.
Happy with Woodcutting, although it's boring.
