OSRS F2P Bosses - Obor & Bryophyta Guide
There are only two bosses for F2P players - Obor, the Hill Giant boss and Bryophyta, the Moss Giant boss. We will introduce the two bosses to you today.
Obor, the Hill Giant boss
Where is Obor? You can find Obor's lair on the western wall of the Hill giant area, but the gate is locked. And you need to unlock it with a Giant key obtained from the Hill giants.
How to get there? You can find a locked shed northwest of the Cooks' Guild. Unlock it with a brass key (buy from the Grand exchange) and climb down the ladder to reach the Hill giants area.
How to kill Obor? Turn on the Protect from Missiles prayer before climbing down, and use the Snare spell to prevent Obor from reaching you. Then attack him with magic or ranged. Repeat casting the Snare spell and attack him again until you defeat him.
What does he drop? Rune items, Hill giant club, Runes, etc. And it is worth around 22,709 OSRS gold for each kill.
Bryophyta, the Moss Giant boss
On 11 May 2022, the Bryophyta's essence became available for F2P players. It makes the moss giant area hot for players who want to hunt the giants for Mossy keys.
Where is Bryophyta? You can find Bryophyta's lair in the deep Varrock Sewers. And you need to unlock it with a Mossy key obtained from the Moss giants.
How to get there? Teleport to the fountain with the Varrock teleport spell. Walk north and climb down the ladder. Walk to the deep of the Varrock Sewers ( a knife or slash weapon for slashing the web).
How to kill Bryophyta? Turn on Protect from Magic before meeting her. Bring some food and equipment to defeat her.
What does she drop? Rune items, Runes, Bryophyta's essence, etc. And it is worth around 81,260 OSRS gold for each kill.
