OSRS Desert Treasure II Rewards Poll - June 26th to July 3rd
It's already the summer of 2023. That is to say, the new OSRS quest: Desert Treasure II, will be coming soon. Jagex posted a poll blog today introducing all the rewards from the quest and the post-quest bosses. And the rewards poll will open on June 28th and end on July 3rd.
Ring of Shadows
After finishing the DT2 quest, you will get the Ring of Shadows, an upgraded version of the Ring of Visibility.
The new ring can teleport you to the Ancient Vault in the desert. And also, you can unlock four more teleports close to each of the bosses.
Compared to the Ring of Visibility, the upgraded ring has some offensive stats. Like the Brimstone ring, you can sacrifice some attack bonus to reduce equipment switching - it will be a good choice.
Best-in-Slot Rings
All four bosses encountered during the quest are repeatable to challenge. They will drop untradeable components for making new Best-in-Slot Rings. You will need 90 (boostable)Magic and 80 (boostable) Crafting to create these rings.
Please note:
You can only create these rings after finishing the DT2 quest.
All newly-made rings are also tradeable.
And they are unable to be imbued.
Venator ring - The Venator ring will be the best ring for Rangers, providing +10 Ranged Accuracy and +2 Ranged Strength.
Magus ring - The Magus ring will be the best ring for Mages, providing +15 Magic Accuracy and +2% Magic Damage.
Ultor ring - The Ultor ring will be the best ring for the Melee Strength bonus, providing +12 Melee Strength.
Bellator Ring - The Bellator Ring will be the best ring for Melee Slash Accuracy, providing +20 Slash Accuracy and +6 Melee Strength.
Virtus Robes
There are three pieces of Virtus robes: Mask, Top, and Bottoms. The pieces are obtainable from each of the four post-quest bosses. All of them are tradeable.
Equipping all of them will provide you a +12% Magic Damage while using Ancient Magicks.
Soulreaper Axe
The Soulreaper Axe was designed on player suggestions. Each boss will drop an untradeable component. After getting all four, you are able to create the axe. And the axe is tradeable.
It requires 80 Attack and Strength to wield.
Attacking with this axe, you will lose 8 HP in exchange for a +6% Strength level boost (Mighty Stacks). And the unique effect can be stacked up to five times - 40 Hitpoints lost for a +30% Strength boost.
It also has a special attack - consume any Mighty Stacks to increase your accuracy by 6% and heal you for 8 Hitpoints per stack. That means you can gain a 30% accuracy bonus and regain any Hitpoints you've lost.
Ancient Sceptre Upgrades
Each of the four bosses will drop an untradeable Sigil - blood, ice, shadow, and smoke, coinciding with their Ancient element. You can combine the Sigils with an Ancient Sceptre to make the Blood/Ice/Shadow/Smoke Ancient Sceptre.
New effects:
Blood Ancient Sceptre: Blood magic will overheal you by 10% of your Hitpoints.
Ice Ancient Sceptre: Ice magic gains 10% accuracy on unfrozen, freezable targets.
Shadow Ancient Sceptre: Shadow spells also drain Strength and Defence in addition to the target's Attack level.
Smoke Ancient Sceptre: Smoke spells reduced healing received by 20% for 10 cycles on hit if the target is poisoned.
It requires 75 Magic, 60 Strength, and 50 Attack to wield.
That's all. Don't forget the voting time: from June 26th to July 3rd. Please cast your vote if you like these rewards.
