OSRS Christmas Event 2022 Guide

Merry Christmas! Now you can join in the Christmas event 2022 in the OSRS game. Please note that the event will end on January 11th. Here is a guide for it.

Location

You can start the event by speaking to Guss Mistletoad west of Barbarian Village. The quickest method is to teleport to the Stronghold entrance in Barbarian Village with your skull sceptre and run west. Or teleport to Falador, Varrock, or Edgeville and then run there.

Walkthrough

Starting

1. Speak to Guss Mistletoad, and select yes to start the event.

2. Go and speak to Santa.

3. Return to Guss Mistletoad, and talk to him.

4. Go north and click to enter the Christmas portal. Santa will stop you and give you a Christmas riddle (Answer: Frostbite). If you select the wrong one, he will ask you to solve another one.

5. Select yes to enter the Christmas portal after solving the riddle.

Game one

1. Talk to Santa's scribe and select yes to start the first game.

2. Collect and give coals (large piles: 40 pieces; small piles: 20 pieces) to other players (NPCs) to eliminate them. The one who has more than 100 pieces will be eliminated. So give the coals to other NPCs after each collection. You can talk to Santa's scribe to start again if failed.

3. Speak to Santa's scribe to solve a riddle (Answer: Snowman) to gain access to the next game.

Game two

1. Follow the right path north to the game area (marked black on the minimap).

2. Talk to the Gnome inspector and select yes to start the game.

3. Collect gingerbreads and put them into the hopper (marked with a flashing arrow) until you gain 250 points to win (the points displayed on the top-left corner of your screen). You will lose 30 points each time if the other player (NPC) puts the bad gingerbreads into your hopper.

4. Talk to the Gnome inspector after reaching 250 points to solve another riddle (Answer: Candle) to gain access to the next game.

Game three

1. Head north to the snow area, and speak to the Snowball champion.

2. Speak to Guss Mistletoad and select yes to start the game.

3. Collect snowballs from snow piles and throw them toward the other players (NPCs, each has 100 hitpoints) to eliminate them. Each white snowball (collected from the snow piles) deals 10 damage, and the golden one (appeared during the game with a flashing arrow) deals 50 damage. You will see a shadow where you stand if someone attacks you. Run away to avoid the damage.

4. There will be a cutscene after all NPCs are eliminated. Go through all chats and select either 'Dodge the attack.' or 'Let the ball hit you.' If you lose connection or end the cutscene earlier, you will be kicked out of the event map. You should enter the Christmas portal to start it again.

Ending

You will find yourself in the pub after the cutscene. Speak to Guss Mistletoad to complete the event.
