OSRS Bounty Hunter Minigame is Coming Back
Bounty Hunter is one of the beloved OSRS minigames (Dangerous!) that allows you to pit against other players with similar combat levels and wealth carrying. As with other PvP kills, you will get their unprotected drops and additional rewards after defeating your target.
Bounty Hunter Crater
The minigame takes place in the Bounty Hunter Crater. And the crater includes two zones: Lobby and Combat.
The lobby is a safe zone in the center of the crater. You will find a Bank, a chest for your loot keys, an NPC (BH interpreter and the reward store owner), and maybe a stat recovery pool. There are four entrances in different directions. You can use them to go into the combat zone: random spawns near the crater's outer ring.

Skulling
There are two options for skulling: everyone in the crater will be skulled or the typical skulling mechanics. Jagex has not yet determined which scheme will be used. They need feedback from players.
Target and Rogue
You will get a target within 5 Combat levels of yours once you enter the combat zone (you cannot get one in the lobby). But do you want to increase your matchmaking range to +10 or +15, similar to PvP Worlds? It all depends on your feedback.
Once you enter the crater, you will have a little time (act as an immunity period) to prepare for hunting your target. You can skip your target by clicking the Skip button in the UI or logging out. You will also skip your target if you stay outside the combat zone for more than two minutes.
And, if you skip too many in a short time, you will receive a penalty. For example, if you skip three targets in 30 minutes, you cannot match a new target for the next 30 minutes, and you will receive reduced Bounty Hunter rewards on your next win.
Everyone in the combat zone can go rogue. That means you can also attack all players, even if they are not your targets. But the rogues can only get the regular PvP loot, no additional Bounty Hunter rewards. But as a rogue, you may take some consequences. Do you have good ideas about consequences?
Emblems
There are two ideas of how these Emblems could work.
Single - You will have one Emblem (cannot be traded, alchemised, noted, or stacked). You can level it up by killing your targets. If the target you killed has a high-tier Emblem, you will receive bonus Bounty Hunter points.
Multi - You can have multi Emblem (stackable). You can level it up by killing your targets. If the target you killed has a high-tier Emblem, you will receive a bunch of Tier 1 Emblems.
Which idea do you like?
Bounty Hunter Point
Bounty Hunter point is a currency for Bounty Hunter-associated goods and services exchange. You will get one point for killing your target. You can also get extra points for killstreaks. For example, you will get one point per kill from 1-2 killstreak, two points per kill from 3-4, and three points per kill from 5 or more.
There may be milestones for Bounty Hunter, rewarding you extra Bounty Hunter points for the certain kill.
Rewards
It's time to talk about rewards. Please note that all these rewards are not locked.
Ancient Warrior equipment: Vesta, Statius, Morrigan, and Zuriel. You can only use them within the crater.
Bounty Hunter-specific Weapon Attachments/Imbues: You can imbue or upgrade weapons like the Dragon Mace, Dragon Longsword, Dark Bow, and more.
Combat XP: You can exchange your Bounty points for your combat skills' experience. And Minus XP Lamps may be added to the reward shop. You can use them to remove your combat skills' experience.
Ornament Kits and Recolours: You can use them to decorate your armour and weapons like the Berserker Helmet or the Granite Maul and recolour your God capes (or more?).
