More Game Content Introduced on OSRS Game Jam

We introduced the OSRS Wilderness expansion project in our last blog. Today we will talk about more games content mentioned on OSRS Jam. Many players are interested in these content, and some can't wait to play with them. However, this is going to take some time. We must allow the OSRS Team enough time to improve these new projects until they are ready to put them in the current game.

The Tasakaal Trials

The Tasakaal Trials is another project with relatively rich content. It is a wave-based OSRS Minigame concerned with but distinct from the Fight Caves and Inferno. And it takes place underneath Karuulm. This minigame has 12 waves divided into three sections.

Wave 1 - Wave 4 (Life): aimed at players who have received a Firecape.
Wave 5 - Wave 8 (Death): aimed at players who haven't earned an Infernal cape but are competent at PvM.
Wave 9 - Wave 12 (Immortality): aimed at players capable of obtaining an Infernal cape.

There will be a boss in the final wave of each section. After defeating the boss, you will receive a buff that will last for the remaining battles and the rewards.

The Garden of Death

The Garden of Death is a new OSRS Quest. In this quest, you will explore some hidden ruins to decipher an ancient language to uncover the fate of a long-forgotten race in southern Kebos. We will get more information about this quest soon. Thank God, this is not a porting quest.

Blessed Status

They mentioned the Blessed Status for protecting the PvMers in the Wilderness. Being blessed will benefit you as follows:
The Saradomin Brews drain stats less.
Stamina Potion regen is slightly better.
Food will heal more Hitpoints.
The protection prayers get better protection.
The Special attack energy and Hitpoint regeneration restore quicker.
The higher Blessed Status you have, the more benefits you have.

But please note:

You can only get Blessed in the deep Wilderness.

You can turn the Blessed Status on/off and upgrade it by speaking to Anders in the new Wilderness City Skallevik.

If you are Blessed, you cannot bank, trade, or pick up the loots from other players. Killing skulled players will send them to the Death office, and they will not drop their items on the ground. However, being killed by other players will make you drop your items to the PKers.

Skulled players will receive Score points after defeating the Blessed players. And they can exchange the points for rewards at Anders.

Some players thought that this was not "Old school" and disliked it. Well, it doesn't make much sense. We believe that the start-up ideas fail to take off.

Pet Dogs

Many players are interested in this topic and put forward their suggestions on the new pet dogs. Like the cats, the dogs will grow from a puppy to adult dogs. Do you need to feed them with bones? Will there be a hell dog? Like the hellcat. Or some other mutant dog? Um, interesting!

Stamina Bridge?

Mod West posted a picture with a bridge on Twitter. And asked, "Where's it going?". Some players posted some hilarious answers with some pictures. Maybe this bridge will lead to a water city? Or a water project that can train your Agility? Who knows?

No matter what new game content they have introduced, OSRS is still very popular with players. We hope that the OSRS Team can enrich it with better game content.
