Introdntroducing New OSRS Skills - Shamanism

Based on the voting and survey results, Jagex has brought three new OSRS skills for players to pick: Sailing, Taming, and Shamanism. Two skills are Utility, and the third is a mix between Production and Gathering. Today we will give you a brief introduction to Taming.

Introduction

Shamanism is a combination of Gathering & Production skill, letting you create utility and support items in the game while upgrading the existing equipment. You can also explore the mysterious Spirit Realm.

Study the magical power of nature and unlock the ability to perform rituals. You will need to gather components, perform rituals, and infuse objects with the magic of the Spirit Realm. With newly created items like Tikis, Totems, and poultices, you can augment your current equipment with new powerful effects.

Training

You can train this skill by gathering components and making new objects.

Gather Natural and Spirit Components with different methods. By doing this, you will gain experience.

Walk around the world, and look for mushrooms, roots, bark, leaves, berries, and other nature stuff.

You can also gather reagents from monsters you have killed with a Carving knife. After the kill, you will get Giant bone marrow, Hellhound blood, Giant frog spleens, and more.

You can then create potent magical items at Ritual circles, such as poultices, wards, oils, incense, salves, idols, relics, tikis, totems, and more to gain some experience.

Reward Space

The biggest reward is to create new items while training the skill we list above. Then you can sell them for OSRS gold coins or use them to upgrade your current equipment. The improved equipment will have better stats, damage bonuses, or other special effects.

Spirit Realm

The spirit realm is an alternate reality populated by spirits, helping skilled shamans power their abilities.

You can use Disturbed Sites to cross into the Spirit Realm and explore the mysterious new area. You may find some exciting and hidden secrets in it.
